We are currently developing a new set of Quick Selection Pro Tools for vector PDFs. The goal is to make the measuring process more efficient and eliminate tedious, manual polygon tracing.

The video above shows a short preview of the Multi-Room Rapid Takeoff using the Quick Area Selection Tool. In total, we are preparing three new tools for the upcoming Pro release, which will allow the following:

• Multi-Room Rapid Takeoff: Measure complex rooms in seconds with just a few mouse strokes.
• Instant Facade Takeoff: One click measures the net area, automatically deducting windows and doors.
• Split Line Tool: Divide complex geometry with custom lines to measure separate sections.
• Area and Perimeter Toggle: Instantly switch between the area and perimeter of your selection.

These features are currently under development and are not yet available for hands-on testing. However, you can watch the video previews for all upcoming tools directly inside the application. Simply open MeasureCAD and click on the new tool section in the Tools window.
